In 1932, Nile and Ruth built a farm home with locally produced bricks and stucco, where they raised four children. As the years passed, they hosted many pleasant, memorable family events for their adult children, their spouses, and eleven grandchildren, all of whom still think of the house as home! After they passed, and the house saw several renters, their son, Randy, and his wife, Cathy, restored the house in 2007 as a bed and breakfast and later lodging for hunters of their business, Great Nebraska Hunting, which they began in 2012. Their desire has always been to welcome guests into a comfortable, homelike atmosphere, where they can make pleasant memories with family and friends.

A pellet-burning stove supplements central heating and air-conditioning. There are laundry facilities and a freezer on a back porch. Two outdoor porches offer comfortable seating, dining and nature viewing. The entire house and xero-scaped yard are children and pet friendly although there may be some unfriendly wildlife of which to be wary.
